This Darcy was to die for. Talk about consistency! What a man, even after being refused. His determination and love for Elizabeth was the kind every woman would hope for. Unfortunately, Miss Bingley still acted like a barnacle and attached herself to Darcy's arm. Upon meeting Elizabeth in the library, her cutting, hurtful words unleashed Elizabeth's wit and hurtful words right back. When Mr. Darcy asks Caroline to walk in the garden, Elizabeth is crushed thinking that she finally has lost his good opinion. When the groomsman tells her that her carriage won't be ready for a while, Elizabeth begins to run home refusing to stop at Darcy's call. Half way home the cold rain and wind catch her unawares. Her mother orders a warming bath, and takes care of Elizabeth herself. Imagine, Mrs. Bennet caring for Lizzy. Don't know whether the Earth stopped revolving or rotating! Of course, Mrs. Bennet had an ulterior motive: keep the other girls healthy for Netherfield's Christmas Dance given by Mr. and Mrs. Bingley. Having to miss the dance, Elizabeth joins her father in his library. Unbeknownst to her, much has gone on while she was sick. When an unexpected visitor calls, it is said that the third times a charm. HEA for the rest of the story.Product details

Christmas at Netherfield A Pride and Prejudice Variation edition by Nora Kipling a Lady Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
A lovely little Christmas read. How can you resist Elizabeth and Darcy during the festive season? The answer is that you can't. I enjoyed the novella very much and look forward to reading more historical romance from this talented author.
A gifted Jane Austen fanfiction writer.
Amazing. Such a joy when Elizabeth finally realizes how much she loves Mr. Darcy. My favourite couple together always. Yay
I really enjoyed this interesting take on P & P. Ms Kipling does a wonderful job drawing you into the plot and I look forward to all further efforts by this author.
I am so glad I purchased this book. I enjoyed every single word, every emotion, of this journey. I cannot wait to read more of your works in the future.
Your portrayal of Elizabeth and Darcy are breathtaking. You bring them to life with every letter.
The venom you laced in Miss Bingley's words made me ache for Lizzie and Jane. I only wish we could've read the sit down Mr. Bingley was due to have given her.
I want to read this over and over again. Thank you.
I selected this novella thinking/ hoping the story would be entertaining and satisfying read. The novella was missing parts of the story. The ending was abruptly presented and disappointing.
This novella was underdeveloped in its romance and overwrought in its dialogue and syntax.
